Villa Gilda

Our Linen on Location

We are very proud to have our linen present in so many places worldwide. In this series, we highlight the most interesting and unique places where you can encounter our linen.

In this post we visit Villa Gilda

Have you ever been to the Italian Riviera? A region with a wide variety of landscapes. For now, just imagine a green mountainside. In between the green a true gem can be uncovered. The name? Villa Gilda.

Dolce Vita

The owners Ilda, Riccardo and Adua opened up their family villa as a boutique hotel in 2016. They want to submerge their guests in the true Italian Dolce Vita. For this, six suites are at your disposal in Villa Gilda. From Levante & Zefiro to Libeccio, each suite accommodates guests luxuriously in spacious rooms.

The family carefully selected every piece of furniture to obtain the highest degree of comfort and to fit perfectly in each suite. The result is a fine example of luxurious Italian lifestyle. They enhanced it with a bit of Belgian comfort. In these suites, you can sleep in our Santiago steel, stone and light grey bed linen.

Tuscany

Vivid Tuscany

In this region, there is always something to discover. Such as the lively beaches with their many bars or its shops in the small streets of the towns on the coast line.

Next to that, we also have the beautiful historical cities. Florence is considered the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance, confirmed by the typical architecture of the ancient city center. The  city of Sienna has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And how could we not mention the city of Pisa with its famous leaning tower?

In conclusion: wherever you go, you’re always surprised by the typical royal Italian welcome. Speaking of royals: did you know that our former Queen Paola of Belgium was born in Forte dei Marmi, about a 5-minute drive from Villa Gilda?
